Store Policies

Needles are exchangeable within 3 days, with receipt.

Patterns, books, hooks and notions are not returnable, or exchangeable.

Sale yarn is not returnable, or exchangeable.

Yarns can be returned, within 3 months, and with original receipt, for store credit. All yarn must be in original condition.

After purchase of 50% of yarn for project, we can hold extra yarn for 90 days. Holds do not apply to sale merchandise. Holds are for regular-priced yarn only.

Store credit will be given for class registration payment, or deposit, if we cancel the class.

If customers do not show up for a class, or do not call to cancel, the monies paid will be forfeited.

We reserve the right to cancel a class if 1, or less, persons register. Please call prior to the scheduled class to verify status.

10% discount on day of yarn purchase when a charity item is received.

All classes except Beginning Knitting or Beginning Crochet require basic knit and/or crochet skills.

All classes must be signed up for in advance by phone, or in person. Deposits are required to hold a seat in a class. Some classes have limited space available.

Under 15 minutes of Knit/Crochet Dr. time is free if project is using yarn purchased at Purls Tucson. Needing more time will incur a $6 fee for every 15 minute increment used.

Returned checks will be assessed the fee charged by our bank.

We request that you use Purls yarns for all project classes; including Beginning Socks, Block Club, Clutch Club, Scarf Club. If you choose not to use Purls yarns, an additional $15.00 will be added to the cost of the class. Please come in as soon as possible to make your yarn selection.

The Purls frequent users card is available for $2.00. For every purchase, you receive 1 point ($1.00=1 point) and when you reach 200 points, you can use $20.00 towards the purchase of any item in the store. With this card, you will also receive a 10% discount the week before, and the week after your birthday. And, if you are a Purls card holder, you are entitled to early entry at our end of year sale!

Purls card points can be redeemed for everything except: special orders, finishing, blocking & visiting instructors.
